The Florida Gators are a division one college football team representing the University of Florida. The Gators are in the eastern division of the South Eastern Conference and play their home games at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Florida. In 100 years of play, Florida has been recognized as SEC champions eight times (finishing first in the conference an additional four times) and were national champions of the 1996, 2006 and 2008 college football seasons. Urban Meyer is the current head coach of the Gators.
