yea well im a huge bama fan and in the BCS game if McCoy didnt get hurt i hate to say it.. bama might not have won it.. idk Texas was playing like they wanted that trophy but bama just played right and won it.. if mccoy was in there it would have been closer.. cuz hey texas is rly good.. and bama is so i say it would have been a last minute drive for the win if he didnt get hurt
If McCoy had been hurt in a car accident or playing pick-up basketball, I would say that was a tough break and agree things COULD have been different. but he got hurt IN THE GAME TRYING TO MAKE A PLAY. His team couldn’t protect him and he got smacked harder than his body could handle. Sorry, but that’s football, and Texas turned out to NOT have the best team…

Lets set something straight, if colt didnt get hurt its a completely different game. bama played the run 100%, gilbert locked onto shipley and on his td’s he was lined up one on one against a safety. do you think bama would have done that had colt been in? also bama shut it down at halftime. the entire 3rd and most the 4th quarter was a run up the middle, dont forget the heisman WINNER ingram was out for nearly half the game. if colt was in its completely different, doesnt mean texas wins… RTR
@kvjhedfbv I believe Alabama beat Texas fare and square. When you turn your QB into a running back, you deserve whatever the outcome is. If Colt’s absence was what cost Texas the game, then blame Mack Brown. That was Texas’s coach’s decision, a poor choice that took his star quarterback out of the game, and, as you admitted, cost texas the game. If ‘Bama wasn’t the better team, they sure had a better coach who didn’t make dumbass calls like that one that cost his team the game

Defense and a good running game wins championships because generally when star players don’t perform, you have something to lean on……Texas had no running game and it finally caught up to them…..

You dumbasses got SOOO many junk TDs against Texas. Do you think Colt would have fumbled the ball TWICE in the Redzone (which lead to 2 of your TDs) like Gilbert? Do you think Colt would have thrown bad passes to WIDE OPEN receivers? Nope. He is one of the most accurate QBs in CBF history. We had a tough time against Nebraska and OU because they were GREAT defenses. They were much more formidable opponents than Assabama or any other SEC team. You let a teenager score twice…What a joke.
