Our thoughts at halftime as Tennessee is getting beat 20-0 by Florida. PS I meant to say Florida made a few mistakes penalty wise not turnovers!

In my opinion, We(Tennessee) should hit harder in tha recruiting wars. we have decent players but some of them just dont belong in a program like Tennessee. Our Defense wasnt that bad, coulda been better. If we had good players with more GREAT players like Eric Berry, we could hang in more games. the offense wasnt that bad except for tha “run on first down” thing. that kinda got ridiculous. oh well, i liked Phil and i hope Kiffin can fill his shoes…
if you go back to some of the earlier ‘Game Day’ episodes, Herbstreit called the possibility of UT being 2-4 after the first half of the season. Unless an entirely new team emerges between the Hedges on saturday, give props to Herb for calling it. funny vid BTW.

Yea, his name is Dave Clawson and he came from Richmond which is a Division 2 team(I think). Anyway I think he is overwhelmed at this level of play. Not saying he will be good after a few years but if he can get the players on the same page and tighten them up on the mistakes, for example Crompton stepped in the wrong lane when they fumbled at the goal line when he ran into the fullback, stuff like that needs to be fixed on the practice field by the coach. David Cutcliffe was the OC we had.
We know when we are not that good. We don’t talk trash to any other fans although we are extremely competitive. We want to win, but you can’t win them all. Yes Foster is good but I actually prefer Hardesty because he runs straight forward with power and always seems to fall forward. It takes a whole team to come together and win and I believe that they are not coming together like that because of all the miscommunications and mistakes caused by guys not working together.
I also think Tennessee is having trouble with the new coordinator since whatcha macallem went off to Duke. Sorry, I’m just not good with coordinators names. Who do you guys have currently as an offensive CO and where did ya get em? That might be part of the problem. I still don’t see it right to fire Fulmer. Do I think hes way overpaid? Yes. But some schools have rough years, and ya just gotta take the bad with the good. I know hes part of the recriting team, but I don’t think its all his fault

Anyways, I don’t see any fire in the vols. However, I think alot of folks are puttin the pressure all on Crumpton and maybe Arian Foster. Arians a dam good ball player, but he’s nothing without his teammates being there for em. Listen, I think alot of the trouble actually falls on the recruiting staff. I gotta repost.
Whats up with you coming in here with the “don’t start that crap” attitude. We have not said anything out of the way to any of the football fans out there. Sounds to me like you let people really get to you and you use the comments in here to vent it out. I don’t care what team you route for you will always have fans that are unhappy. See, I’ve been a Buffalo Bills Fan for over 20 years, and I continue to wear my jerseys and hats despite all of their turbulant history. I get criticized all the dam time, but I don’t give a rats ass when I know I’m a dedicated fan. I can take the criticism. Vols Fans are like most other fans of sports. Look, I’m not one of these a-hole Gator Fans, so don’t start that crap. I live in Knoxville, and I continue to fail to understand why you Vol Fans always start with this “fire Phil oh its Phils fault” BS! This mans won you all a 98 Championship. Its Phil Fulmer we have been outcoached twice this year …I was at that game and I left in the 3 quater…I never left a game early before but, I know as long as Phil is here things are not going to get any better
I don’t know if our offense is having a rough time trying to execute this new offense or if we just are that bad. I do know our mistakes have been at a time when we really needed to score points that would have possibly changed the momentum of the game. Oh well thats how it goes in the sweet sport of college football!
