Next year Venice will get a look at Virginia High School football live on ESPN. Defending VA D6 State Champions Oscar Smith(Chesapeake,VA) will travel to Florida to play Venice on August 29th. Smith has a pair of blue chip recruits in QB Phillip Sims and DT Evan Hailes. Type in Oscar Smith vs Osbourn to look at state champ highlights from this past year. Burton is supposed to be top Dual threat QB in 2010 while Sims is top pocket passer in 2010 class. Can’t wait to see VA get some national love.
